To Share or Not to Share: We Know The Numbers

To Share or Not to Share: We Know The Numbers. “As of January 2021, only 6.3% of America’s largest corporations disclosed the type of intersectional data that could be derived from an EEO-1 Report.” Despite the fact that EEO-1 Reports are required to be compiled and submitted to the federal government annually, just a handful of companies actually share them publicly as a means of accountability for increasing representation. This session will explore the evolution of the EEO-1 report, the type of information that can be learned about an organization by reviewing it and the importance of transparency to begin the process of addressing systemic inequity.

Building an Infrastructure for Advancing Equity

Post “George Floyd,” companies have committed to act differently and focus on diversity, equity and inclusion. Making changes internally will be critical to drive a breakthrough for organizations who want to fulfill their mission of changing health outcomes for all patients. This session will help you understand the infrastructure required to remove the systemic barriers that add to the lack of diversity from drug discovery through commercialization.
